ABOUT US

Established in 1979 by the Professional Staff Congress of the City University of New York (PSC/CUNY), the Belle Zeller Scholarship Trust Fund honors the legacy of Belle Zeller, a distinguished CUNY faculty member, union leader, and lifelong advocate for public higher education. The Fund carries forward her commitment to academic excellence, public service, and opportunity for CUNY students.

SUPPORTING STUDENTS ACROSS CUNY

Scholarships are available to undergraduate students at CUNY community and senior colleges, as well as students enrolled at the CUNY Graduate Center and CUNY professional and law schools. This broad reach allows the Fund to support talented students at different stages of their educational and professional journeys.

The Fund believes that education is not only about achievement in the classroom. It is also about using knowledge, leadership, and opportunity to make a meaningful difference in our communities.

CONTINUING BELLE ZELLER'S LEGACY

The Fund is governed by a volunteer Board of Trustees and supported by an Advisory Board of current and retired CUNY faculty and professional staff. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the Fund is committed to ensuring that Belle Zeller's legacy of educational opportunity, public service, and advocacy continues to inspire future generations.

Academic Excellence. Community Service. Leadership. Opportunity.
